Michael co-founded Latitude in 2000 with Andrew Gilbert. He has extensive experience in the development and delivery of complex projects, with particular expertise in planning, heritage and sensitive urban sites.

Michael began his career working for architect Kisho Kurokawa in Tokyo in the 1980s, before returning to the UK and working for BAA on the development of Heathrow Terminal 5. He subsequently became a Partner at Michael Squires & Partners before establishing Latitude.

At Latitude, Michael’s primary role is focused on the early stages of projects, where he leads the development of planning strategies and the securing of high-value consents on complex and sensitive sites.
