1-2 The Approach

The site occupies the corner of The Approach and West Avenue in Barnet, currently occupied by two semi-detached houses dating from the 1920s. The scheme replaces these with a three-storey residential building comprising six self-contained flats, including four two-bedroom duplexes.

The building is expressed in brickwork with reconstituted stone spandrel panels, natural slate roofing and dark metal balustrades, responding to the material character of the surrounding streetscape. Each apartment benefits from private outdoor space, complemented by a communal rear garden. Six car parking spaces are provided at basement level, accessed via a car lift.
