An international competition to design a new form of Architecture centre to inspire and relate to the historical and contemporary city context. The design proposals mirror the many historical layers of Cordoba: the Moorish grid of 30 degrees, the geometry of Roman terraces and steps, and the Islamic geometry and decoration. The proposal minimises the buildings’ reliance on energy and takes full advantage of climatic and environmental conditions.
